We begin this journey with an indispensable part of every household: high-quality bed linen and fitted sheets made from certified organic cotton percale and jersey.

High-quality organic cotton makes the bed linen particularly easy to care for and breathable. This makes it ideal for use all year round.

4-fold certified quality

MELA is Hindi and stands for "acting together". Our MELA home products are also 100% Fairtrade Cotton, GOTS and Grüner Knopf certified.

GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard):
We only use 100% Indian organic cotton that is certified according to the strict environmental and social standards of GOTS.

Fairtrade Cotton Standard:
All our cotton is Fairtrade certified and traceable back to the farms. Farmers receive fair minimum prices and social and environmental standards are guaranteed.

Green Button:
Our products carry the government's Green Button seal, which sets strict requirements for the entire production and companies, including 46 demanding social and environmental criteria.

Fairtrade Textilstandard:
As a licensee of the new Fairtrade Textile Standard, we are committed to fair wages, improved working conditions and worker* participation. This standard introduces living wages for the first time.

Why MELA home bed linen?

Our bed linen is exceptionally durable thanks to its special weave. It is also quadruple-certified, environmentally friendly and sustainable with GOTS, Fairtrade and the Green Button. The 100% organic cotton ensures excellent skin compatibility, while the 200TC percale guarantees breathability and temperature regulation. Natural and free from harmful substances in accordance with the Global Organic Textile Standard - our bed linen is naturally vegan!
