We recommend washing this knit hat at 30°C on a delicate cycle and air-drying it. We advise against using a tumble dryer. Lower wash temperatures and air drying save energy while also helping to preserve the material and shape.

All MELA textiles are certified according to Fairtrade Cotton, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and the Green Button. These three certifications address different points in our supply chain and complement each other in their social and environmental requirements.

Fairtrade Cotton stands for the Fairtrade Minimum Price and premium for cotton farmers, as well as requirements for labor rights and environmental protection in cotton cultivation.

GOTS sets ecological and social requirements for processing from raw material to the finished textile, including regulations on chemicals, wastewater, and working conditions.

The Green Button combines production requirements with the verification of our corporate due diligence.
