Description

The form-fitting Munli long-sleeved shirt is made from 100% Fairtrade organic cotton and, thanks to its soft, elastic ribbed fabric, adapts very comfortably to the body shape without constricting. With its turtleneck and long sleeves, it is the ideal choice for cooler days and can be styled in versatile layering looks. A special detail: We deliberately avoid elastane in our ribbed knitwear. This allows the shirt to adapt naturally - it widens slightly when worn and develops a casual, individual fit over time.

For sustainability reasons, we do not use elastane for cuffs and hems. This means that your garment may stretch in these areas when worn and will return to its original shape after washing.

We recommend washing this long-sleeved shirt at 30° on a delicate cycle to prevent shrinking and maintain its beautiful appearance. Washing your laundry at lower temperatures and air-drying it saves energy and money, helping you to minimize your ecological footprint.

Through the Fairtrade Cotton Standard, we ensure compliance with social criteria in raw material extraction. Particular emphasis is placed on fair remuneration for cotton farmers. With every MELA item purchased, you support Indian cotton cooperatives with a Fairtrade premium. In addition, MELA is part of the new Fairtrade Textile Standard and advocates for living wages along the entire supply chain.

The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) ensures that only ecologically optimized substances are used along the entire supply chain – from cotton cultivation to fabric dyeing – and that social standards are met. This is monitored by independent certification bodies.

Additionally, this item is certified with the governmental textile label Grüner Knopf (Green Button), which verifies social and environmental criteria at both product and company levels.
