We recommend washing these socks at 30° on a delicates cycle to prevent shrinkage and maintain their beautiful appearance. Washing your laundry at lower temperatures and air-drying saves energy and money, helping you minimize your ecological footprint.

• Through the Fairtrade Cotton Standard, we ensure compliance with social criteria in raw material extraction. Great importance is placed here on fair remuneration for cotton farmers. With every MELA item purchased, you support Indian cotton cooperatives with a Fairtrade premium. In addition, MELA is part of the new Fairtrade Textile Standard and is committed to living wages along the entire supply chain.
• The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) ensures that only ecologically optimized substances are used along the entire supply chain – from cotton cultivation to the dyeing of fabrics – and that social standards are met. This is monitored by independent certification bodies.
• In addition, this item is certified according to the state textile label Grüner Knopf, which verifies social and environmental criteria at both product and company level.
