We recommend washing these socks on a delicate cycle at 30°C to prevent shrinkage and maintain their beautiful appearance. Washing your laundry at lower temperatures and air-drying saves energy and money, helping you minimize your ecological footprint.

• Through the Fairtrade Cotton Standard, we ensure compliance with social criteria in raw material sourcing. Great importance is placed on fair wages for cotton farmers. With every MELA item purchased, you support Indian cotton cooperatives with a Fairtrade premium. In addition, MELA is part of the new Fairtrade Textile Standard and advocates for living wages throughout the entire supply chain.
• The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) ensures that only ecologically optimized substances are used throughout the entire supply chain - from cotton cultivation to the dyeing of fabrics - and that social standards are met. This is monitored by independent certification bodies.
• Additionally, this item is certified with the state-run textile label Grüner Knopf (Green Button), which verifies social and environmental criteria at both the product and company level.
