To avoid the use of conventional synthetic fibers, we do not use elastane for cuffs and hems, for example. As a result, these areas may stretch slightly during wear and contract again after washing.

We recommend washing this garment at 30 °C on a gentle cycle and air drying it. We advise against using a tumble dryer. Lower wash temperatures and air drying save energy and can also help preserve the material and shape.

Sustainability

All MELA textiles are certified according to Fairtrade Cotton, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and the Green Button. These three certifications address different points in our supply chain and complement each other in their social and environmental requirements.

Fairtrade Cotton stands for a Fairtrade minimum price and premium for cotton farmers, as well as requirements for labor rights and environmental protection in cotton cultivation.

GOTS sets ecological and social requirements for processing from raw material to finished textile, including standards for chemicals, wastewater, and working conditions.

The Green Button combines production requirements with the verification of our corporate due diligence obligations.

Das Kleid ist sehr schön & passt gut

Das Kleid ist sehr schön & passt gut. Nur der Ausschnitt klaffte bei meiner kleinere Oberweite ziemlich auseinander und ich musste ihn daher ein bisschen festnähen, was aber nicht schlimm war. Den Blauton des Kleids finde ich einfach wunderschön.
