There's a reason we call our socks "Super Sustainable Socks". Our socks are free of polyamide and polyester and are therefore super sustainable. We don't even use synthetic fibers for the connecting seams, as is usually the case. Unlike conventional socks, ours are made of 97% Fairtrade organic cotton and 3% Roica. This is an elastane that is harmless to the environment. Our socks also offer you a super comfortable, seamless feel because they are hand-linked and feel soft on the skin.

We recommend washing these socks on a 30° delicate cycle to prevent the garment from shrinking and to maintain its beautiful appearance. Washing your laundry at lower temperatures and air-drying saves energy and money, helping you minimize your ecological footprint.

MELA's clothing is triple certified by Fairtrade Cotton, the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and the Grüner Knopf (Green Button) label. In our opinion, the social and environmental aspects of these standards complement each other perfectly, allowing us to confidently speak of holistically sustainable textiles.
