Basic socks, ribbed knit, sneaker socks, or styles with embroidery: At MELA, you will find women's socks in various colors, heights, and designs.

Our MELA Cotton Socks are made of 97% Fairtrade-certified organic cotton and 3% ROICA™ V550.

97% organic cotton and 3% ROICA™ V550

The high cotton content forms the foundation of our socks. For the necessary elasticity, we add 3% ROICA™ V550.

ROICA™ V550 is an elastane fiber. It is Cradle to Cradle Certified® Material Health Gold certified. Furthermore, in an environmental impact assessment by Hohenstein, gradual degradation was examined under defined test conditions.

Without polyester and polyamide

We do not use polyester or polyamide in our socks. This applies not only to the main fabric: we also use cotton thread for the connecting seams. In embroidered socks, the embroidery thread and backing are also made of cotton.

Various sock styles

In addition to classic basic socks, you will find ribbed models, sneaker socks, rolled-hem socks, and various embroideries. Depending on the style, there are also individual pairs and packs available.

For the development of these socks and their associated supply chain, MELA was honored with the Fairtrade Award in the newcomer category in 2016.
